| Cross Creek Stables Trail Horses For Sale |
| All of the horses at Cross Creek Stables were good, solid trail horses able to take out the most inexperienced riders. We kept our horses year round, unlike a lot of stables that buy up new horses in the Spring and sell them when the season is over. We worked year round, never closing for the season, and kept the same horses year after year. We knew they were reliable and trust worthy even in the most trying circumstances. They were required to cross creeks, go through the mud, walk over logs, climb hills, and put up with squealing, screaming kids. Every horse on this page is priced at $1500 unless otherwise indicated. We will negotiate price if more than one horse is purchased. We can also deliver, if you are not too far away. |
| Bonnie Boo 9 year old unregistered Paint mare. Bonnie is a Sorrel Sabino Paint with a nearly bald face and four white stockings. She has the typical roaning at the flank with a white marking on her belly. She took out 8 to 14 year olds as well as beginning adults. She is 13.3 to 14 hh and at least 1000 pounds. SOLD |

| Blue Creek Travler (Eve) will be 20 in August, registered Racking Horse Association. She is the one I used for people who were scared to death but were being forced by their family members to ride any way. They always came back happy and wanting more. She also took out kids as young as 8. She is black and approximately 15 hh. | Jazzy 11 year old full blooded Quarter Horse mare without papers, she is the great-granddaughter of Jet Deck. She likes to go but is gentle and sweet. She is well built but petite for a Quarter Horse. She has been working at Cross Creek since she was three years old. |
| Pete the Mule is about 10 years old and will get you where you want to go. There are no surprises, just a good ol' working mule. He is 15 hh and gray. |
| Caroline Cinnamon (Car-mon) is a coming 15 year old registered gaited Morgan mare. She is close to 15 hh and has a very nice gait and a nice smooth trot. She is very gentle and can take about any rider as long as she is ridden consistently. She is a very pretty dark bay mare. We are asking $3200 for her. |
| Funny Star Leo (Monroe)18 year old registered Quarter Horse with Leo and Poco breeding. He likes to go and can keep up with gaited horses. He has a nice trot and slow collected lope. He is not one that we put total beginners on, the rider has to be at least an intermediate. He will lead, be the last horse, or ride in the middle. He will go anywhere you point his nose, through whatever it takes to get there. For Monroe it's all about the going. He is about 14.2hh and a black bay. SOLD |

| Princess, a coming 16 year old sorrel mare, is a Tennessee Walking Horse/Morgan cross. She is about 14.3 hh and well built, weighing about 1100 pounds. She is extremely quiet and well behaved, taking out the most inexperienced riders with a hackamore. She has been abused but has gotten over most of it. We have worked with her extensively to overcome the beatings she used to get. SOLD |
| Seiko 17 year old Saddlebred/Belgium cross, is a gaited draft horse: 16 hh and 1400 pounds. He helped take out the heavy weights that came to ride at the stables and he did it with style. He has been a barn favorite since he first came to the stables. He is a gentle giant with a sweetness that is immediately apparent. He will walk, trot, canter and rack. SOLD |
